Only after scientific theories have gone through this rigorous confirmation process do scientists begin using it in their work. Now, a law of nature describes a specific process in nature, but does not attempt to explain why it happens. While, scientific theories are a combination of multiple natural laws that work together to give the most accurate explanation of a process as possible. It is the best approximation of reality.
